Therapy is an active process, and it’s not just talking about your problems and feelings. I will work with you to help you build the sort of life you want to live which may involve learning skills to handle difficult thoughts and feelings more effectively, so they have less impact and influence over you. Practicing these skills between sessions is often beneficial. You don’t have to do that, of course; but it’s like learning to play a guitar or drive a car: the more practice you do, the better you get.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives.
I am a trained addiction counsellor and work in a private rehab clinic. I can help you understand addictions and guide you through the process of recovery and healing.
In person sessions take place in my office. Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home. Get in touch to find out what times are available.
